Question about Cams...
I have a 98 Integra LS and i want to get cams... First which is better Crower or Crane? Also is it nessesary for me to get springs and retainers? I know getting the springs would take full advantage of putting the cams in. I know in my brother's Nissan you don't need springs. Let me know
for the price i would deffinatly go with crower over crane cams. crane cams cost about 200 bucks a pair over crower. they might make a little more power than crower but will the extra cost justify the price?
depending on which crower cams you choose you might be able to get away with using the stock valve springs. but if you gonna go with the very mild crower cams then dont bother with cams at all. get atleast the 403's with the dual valve springs and you will be good to go.

i can vouch for that it does wander for a non vtec platform i use to have the crower 62403s on my stock valve train...it pulled hard...for a street set-up: i had intake header exhaust clutch stage1 clutchmasters and a lightened flyhwheel make sure u get cam gears too...you could purchase them on Groupbuycenter.com for i think $350 i purchased mine for $400 shipped to my house in about like 2 days from Summitracing...they are worth it...its intake and exhaust duration is 209/209 they are like mild cams i guess.
