IM in the process of installing a 92 LS into a 90 CRX. What throttle and clutch cables should i use? Ive got the stock throttle cable and a LS clutch cable. Can someone post a pic of their bay so that i could see how the throttle cable is routed? Thanks.

Just go to the dealership and pay the xtra $$ get yourself a new Throttle Cable, Clutch cable is fine. I have heard that some people use the stock Throttle cable as well but no to sure.

So my stock clutch cable will work fine...but i need a new throttle cable? has anyone ever used the stock cable? By the way...its a dx not an si...guess i should have told you that to begin with. Arent the dx throttle cables like long as hell anyway? Also i need some pics of an LS engine bay so that i can see if im missing something...which i think i am. I think that im missing the little thing that guides the trottle cable over the throttle body...i cant really explain it but if i could see a pic i would be able to tell you what it is. Thanks.

Hi Sean, You can use your stock clutch cable. Where the cable goes into the adjuster at the tranny, cut the plastic sheath and you can pull out the steel sheath (outer cable) shorten it about 1-1/2 inch and it will work. I just did this last week on my B18 swap. Be carefull and don't cut the inner cable. I used my dremel tool with a cutoff disc. I am also going to re-use my HF throttle cable, need a new bracket. I also went to the yard and bought a 91 Ted throttle cable and it wasn't bolt on either. Email if you have questions, I'm doing a B18 swap right now.
