I just took out my leather back seats from my 98 gsr, man that was so easy...weighed them in at 26 lbs

 

wow, 26lbs, 1% of your car.

 

Thats what i call dead weight.......my cloths weigh just over 20lbs.

 

now you don't have to drive drunks around....yeah

yeah about the drunks...seriously, and also tegs are 2 person cars, whenever people would get in behind me and I would have to slide the seat forward and drive like I ws squating to blast a load, man I hate that! oh and I took off my rear wiper easy as well 1 lb lighter and aerodynamic oh yeah mang .00001 sec shaved off the 1/4 mile! hehe

I took mine out too... but if your a sound guy, its really bad acoustics. Damn, it echos and you can hear your fuel splashing around, and it too cold. I took mine off to pre-pare it for a few gtech runs.

However, once it goes back I will be sound deadening the rear end. Hopefully it wont add too much weight.

I personally weight about 145 lbs, so I'm a light dude... dont have to worry that much about weight.
