Default Rear Hub Bearings - Need Help

I did a complete EK Si front/rear brake conversion on my '98 CX hatch last Spring.

The rear hub bearings started grinding shortly after. I finally got around to replacing the entire rear hub assemblies about 2 months ago, and the grinding stopped. Life was good.

However, the grinding is BACK! I replaced the hub assemblies with genuine Honda parts, and the only "abuse" I've given them is one rallycross on slimy mud. Is it possible that the mud got into the hub assemblies and is causing the grinding? I didn't open the assemblies - they're still factory sealed. ???

Is there something else that could be causing this?

I currently have about a degree of POSITIVE camber in the rear (raised the coilovers and didn't re-adjust the camber). The pieces I replaced when doing the Si conversion was EVERYTHING (rear trailing arms, hubs, rotors, calipers, pads, front knuckles, hubs, rotors, calipers, pads, master cylinder, booster, proportioning valve). I also upgraded to Powerslot rotors, AEM pads, Valvoline synthetic fuid, and stainless lines.

What could be causing this grinding again???

I've haven't even put 1,000 miles on these new hub assemblies.

well, i was kinda hoping to get it fixed soon...there's another rallyx on march 16th that i'm planning to race in.

i'm going to pull everything apart again tonight and see if i can tell what's up. i'll take pics and post 'em. it's really annoying, and kinda pissing me off. hehehe

i've owned 8 hondas and have NEVER had to replace wheel bearing twice on the same car...much less 2 months later.

check out our website - we've got about 700 members in the central illinois area (we're not just hondas)

well, ok...

so i popped off the wheels and immediately noticed that the pass side rotor was wabbling loosely. not good.

we popped off the caliper and rotor to expose the hub assembly, and *guess what*?! the damn thing came apart where it's pressed together, exposing all the grease/bearings! damn! i've only got ~1K miles on the thing!!!

grr...

...and now Majestic Honda is saying a Honda DEALERSHIP must look at it to determine if it is covered under warranty.

I HATE DEALERSHIPS!!! they're going to take one look at my car and say "no way"...i know they are. i'm pissed.
