Default Aftermarket full cat back exhaust interchangeable?

I have a tanabe G-Power Medalion cat back for my '99 GS-R. I know it will fit other GS-R's but will it fit the LS and GS. If it doesn't bolt right in can it be done with only minor modifications?

He's right, it will not fit LS or GS. The b pipe will be too long.

I forgot to mention, I do have first hand experience, I bought an exhaust for an LS and the guy I bought it from said it would fit my GSR if I bought an LS cat. He was wrong.

The A pipe (bottom part of exhaust manifold) on LS's is longer than the GSR, except for the 00 & 01 GSR, which is the same as the LS.

It will only fit 94-99 GSR.

sorry...i guess i should have been more clear with my question. the routing of the pipes and placement of the muffler would all be the same right? if it were to be modifed it would have to be shortened and welded to the cat correct?

i am trying to sell it to someone but i don't want them to go through too much hassel, but if it is just a cut and weld job they are willing to do it.

I think the routing & the hangers are the same. The flange that fits up to the cat is what has to be changed so it fits. I suppose if he wanted to get the rest (manifold, A-pipe, & cat) from a GS-R then it would fit right up.
