are you taking everything out of the car? all i did with mine was take all the lines, condensor, compreesor from the engine bay....i dont know how far you want to go with it....if your doing what i did it should only take you an hour if that....first drian all your freon (how ever way you choose to do that is your choice), take the radiator out so you could get to the condensor and ac lines, disconnect the ac lines up frt there should one in front of the condensor, then take the battery and battery box out and there should be two connecctions right there at the fire wall that you could disconnect, then you basically weave the lines out dont forget to disconnect the two lines on the compressor, then you colud take out the compressor or just leave it in there, if ya take it out dont forget to take out the idler pulley as well...............i think that should give ya some kind of start....good luck........if i missed anything please correct for me........

IM me you address and Ill mail you the instructions to install AC.

Just follow them in reverse.

MAKE SURE you have it discharged by a professional ($40)

On drop in your eye and instantly blind. Real bad to breathe.

Just take a old rag and put that over the valve and then stick a screwdriver down there to let any excess pressure out.
if its not letting anymore cold air out then its probably almost gone anyway
and when you take out the lines, make sure to plug then with something so no moisture gets in there, just in case you want to resell them

Just out of curiousity, how much weight do you save from removing the A/C? I hardly ever use mine, and I need to conserve weight.

Default Do it properly please!!

Uhhh.. while the refrigerants are more environmentally friendly these days.. they are still not 100% damage proof. Collect the refrigerant properly. Do not release into the atmosphere. If caught, it is a federal offense. I wouldn't admit to doing it in a public forum.
