have any of you sedan owners had a passenger that tried to get in the back seat not knowing it was a 4-door? lol. This has happend to me quite a few times since i bought the car new, but only in my integra. Just something that i wondered if it happend to other people.

The other day my friend started yelling at my friend sitting in the passenger seat to get up and move the seat so he could get in the back and then we both stared at him until he finally realized that there is 4 doors most people I meet don't even realize it's a sedan

 

yea its some funny **** when you get to see their face knowing that they are modedd

 

seen someone do it before and it is a funny site, it takes me a while to realize what they are doing. Than I wait for them to finish either getting in or out, and than ask them why they didn't use the door instead...

yea happens all the time, when i first got my car a friend of mine spent like 10mins to get in the back from the front door on the passenger side, then like it was nothin i opened the back door to let someone in and the friend who got in through the front just stared at me and said "what the ****, your car has four doors" wow that was a hell of a run-on but i dont care.

yup, it happens. they just stand out there waiting. then they realize and get in the back. its funny

 

good lord, I thought I was the only one People around here only see 2dr integras, so when I pick them up, they try to get in through the front seats. What's really bad is when I pick up other integra drivers and they do the same thing.

 

I had it happen to me once. Most of the time people realize it has 4-doors. Probably because everyone at my school has a 4-door Integra

How about DB8 owners, have you ever tried to get in a DC2 and nearly whack your neck on the window frame? Only happened to me once, but I really like the window frameless doors on our DB8's.

 

Yeah, I've had that happen, especially if the window is down. I got myself pretty good on my friends dc2 as well as my dad's svt contour.

About the frameless doors, I like them, but thieves really like them. I learned that when I saw my ex-friend easily break into my car in the school parking lot I asked him what he was doing and gave me some bs reason about just looking in my car to see what a gsr cockpit looks like

I shouldn't admit it, but I did this. I've had a GSR coupe for years and years and we just got an LS sedan and the 3rd time I got in it, I tried to load 3 kids in the back seat from the front passenger door.

 

LOL That happened so many times. it's funny when you see thier face after they realize that there's two extra doors!!

My neighbor has never even seen a 4 door integra, he was so surprised when he saw it. He never knew that they even made them. LOL

I heard somewhere that out of all the Integras sold in North America, only 20% of those were 4 doors...i guess the other 80% of those people probably dont realize the potential of making a 4 door look nice.

Dont you guys hate it when people ask you why you got a 4 door?? "Why didnt you get a 2 door instead??" I think that's such a chick's mentality, no offence to anyone..

LOL.. my friend did exactly that the other day. He was rather confused.

 

When I crashed mine the cop wrote "Acura 2 door". The tickets were thrown out so I didnt have to state what an idiot he was. They spent all this time noting how the car was completely stripped and didnt even realize it was a ******* sedan.

 

that is very funny. i knew what the post was going to be about just by reading the topic. To answer your question...ummmmmm yes! this has happened many times.
the funny part is when they pull the lever to let the seat go up, and it moves forward, but not out of the way, the way it would in a 2dr. then they begin to contort themselves into the back seat...i just watch and then say, "you could have just used the door"
