Default Optimal Tire size for 15x7 rim?

I was just thinking about 15x7 rims the other day, and was wondering in your opinion, what would be the best tire size, 205/50/15 or 195/50/15? I was originally leaning towards the 205s, until I saw the huge price difference from the 195s...I mean, if I absolutely must run 205s on the 15x7's, I will, but just wanted to field some opinions. Thanks

195's might be a bit small for 7 inch wheels. Stick to the 205's and you'll be happy.

Depends on what you want from your tires. If you're just looking to hold your car off the ground the 195s will work fine. If you're looking for a street tire for occasional autox/track use, go with 205/50/15. More tread width and more choices.
