CV axle replacement/ ball joint question
I just replaced the axle on my civic yesterday for the first time and when i was splitting the balljoint on the lower control arm Grease came out. It was cold out and I had somewhere to be in 2 hours so rather than think too hard on it, I just busted out the grease gun and got as much grease up under that little rubber thing where ther grease came from as I could. That was yesterday, today I'm beginning to wonder if I screwed up. Any help?

Yeah man, you split the boot. It won't help you to put more grease in there, it will just come right back out. You will need to get a new ball joint now, or get the polyurethane Energy Suspension Ball joint boots. I believe you have to be a member for 30 days, or 50 posts. Not sure which one, but I think it is the 30 days.
probably, it just all depends, I have used a fork and been fine but sometimes I have split the boot. Don't worry too much about it, your car won't fall apart or anything.
