Default dome light not working

it hasn't been working for about a few months now. it always bothered me but never really took the time to check it out. the most i did was replace the bulb, but it still dosn't work. can someone tell me if they have had a similar problem or not with a 5th gen? any advice on how to fix it would be appriciated.

I have the same problem in my 4th gen. Somebody said it might be the fuse. I dunno, too lazy to bother.

prolly the fuse. happened to me when my phone charger decided to fall apart in the cig lighter. i guess it blew the fuse. little did i kno that all interior lights (dome, door, glove box), cig lighter, and one set of the parking lights in my corners were all on the same fuse.

btw, i have a 4th gen.

also check you little pin switch things in your doors to make sure that they are getting contact. After you check the fuses and don't forget about the fuses under the hood!

FWIW i have an extra dome light, all i bought it for was the clear light cover. Its tan, will fit 4th or 5th gen. I'll let it go for what shipping will cost.
