Is it possible, what are the benifits of having a LS tranny?..... I know that I liked the gearing in the J1 Tranny, but the bellhousing cracked and I want to know if it is possible to take the gears out of the J1 Tranny and place them into the LS tranny?


both are cable tranny's

If anyone has the answer that would be great

give it a try, since the worst thing that could happen is that it won't fit. But having seen a usdm s1, i can tell you that the case it's very symilar if not identical to the y1/s1/j1 trannys!
