I bought this used strut bar a while back for a project that never came to be... I was told it was off of a Civic (looks like a rear bar?). Does anybody recognize this bar as fitting a civic (and what year), I want to get rid of it but need to know what it fits. Its aprox. 36" from the center of one bracket to the other and 3" tall (to the center of the bar). If anybody here wants it for cheap let me know... if you can't tell by my screen name i'm here on a little field trip from VWVortex.com, hence I have no use for it

It isnt a rear strut bar from a 96-00 Civic (or earilier im pretty sure). The bolt pattern is wrong. It COULD be a front strut from the same years, that is all I have experience w/ tho. Hope u figure it out! Rick

 

looks like it is for the rear. but it has 2 different mounting points. so i'm not really sure what to say.

 

i have no idea, but it doesnt look like it is for a civic

 

civic have 2 bolts, that has 3, in the front atleast its 2.

exactly, my ej1 has 2 bolts and they are not equalatteral like that. they are angled, what year civic do you have fithgearonline?
