I might need to be replacing the intake manifold on my DOHC ZC, and I wanted to know which cars' intake manifolds will fit on it? I know the a6's will fit, but they're pretty scarce around here...will the 88-89 Teg's or the z6's work?

the A6 manifold will not fit... only another zc (same as d16a8?) manifold or d16a1 (88-89teg) will fit

i heard the ZC manifold isnt interchangable between other D series motors... i could be wrong but the source who told me drives an all motor 13 second Dseries daily. I think he would be correct.

 

You are correct. The ZC manifold only has 3 bolts that are far apart on the top side on the manifold. Most ther D series intake manifolds have 6 bolts on the top side.
