urgent need help timing my civic
well i was half way through installing a cam gear and i stopped for the night, and while i was out my stupidd little brother thought it would be cool to put my car back together but when i got back i checked the marks that i made on the belt and they don't line up how they did before i took it apart, and i don't have amanual and i need to have my car fixed by today. please help me out.
take off the belt
line up the crank at TDC- there will be a marking on the crank to line up with an arrow on the oil pump casting(the key way should be facing straight up as well)
line up the cam at TDC(cylinder one in firing position-just after compression stroke-watch the valves and you have it)
slide on the belt
rotate about 3/4 a turn CCW and tighten the belt tensioner pulley
rotate another 3-4 turns and make sure the TDC marks line up at the same time
fire it up, set ignition timingt, and you're good

the cam's at TDC when the gear says "UP" and is up, the horizontal lines are parallel to the top of the head, and the last mark is lined up with the ciming belt cover
