Wing holes on the trunk, can JB Weld be used? Also, spot painting at home?
I dont have easy access to welding equipment, and want to fill the trunk holes in correctly... can JB Weld be used the fill the holes up?
if so, instructions should be: JB Weld, file and sand down, then body filler (bondo) and sand some more before repainting? tips?
If JB weld works, I was thinking of using this to shave my emblem holes off too... good idea? bad idea? tips?
also... is there any way to do spot painting at home? I do not want to repaint my entire trunk just to repaint these wing holes... Is it possible to get a decent repaint of spots on the trunk and add a clear coat at home w/ basic equipment/tools? It does not have to be perfect, just not tacky or obvious looking. What should I use? and where to get the parts? any tips/pointers?
My car is a stock color, sherwood green pearl (dark green).
thanks guys!
