Default 87 Crx Si engine swap

I'm thinking about doing an engine swap in my 87 Crx Si. I have a few questions. Firts: what engine would you recomend putting in? Second: what extra mods would I need to do to get it to fit? And lastly: should I just forget about it and get a 2nd Gen Crx Si? Thanks.

don't forget about it and get a newer one. a swap in your 87 is way more respectable.

Ditto. If you already have the 1st gen. and have the resources to do a B series in it then definitely keep it. Sweet cars especially with a swap.

Well, besides the 1G being "the ish" as stated above, you can do a ZC swap if you're on a budget. If you have alot of money to burn, definitely go with a B16.

The brown top ZC is a direct bolt. If you want more indepth info, check out
www.redpepperracing.com/forums/, there is a bunch of us there who
have done the swap. Also an excellent source for other related 1G tech info.
