Default Thank You God

I own a 1991 CRX Si and a 1990 Civic DX HB and I just bought a 1993 Civic DX HB. I have to say that everytime I get into the EG I just say "thank you God." Man I love this car, it is a joy to drive and I cant believe how much nicer and more modern the interior is than my CRX. Now I see why you guys spend so much on your EGs and EKs. These are wonderful cars.

LOL i felt the same way when i got my hatch. I had a CRX before, and the interior is so much nicer. BUT my CRX was way faster and more fun to drive... but i'm working on that part!

My first brand new car was a 86 si hatch...Beautiful I loved it and got lots of positive feedback.

Now when I look at that year I kinda shudder. I love the 5th gen body style and wait till you put on just an upper front strut bar. I did, my wife drove it to the store without knowing about it and she comes back and said "wow the car drove really nice did you do something to it?"

But you cant stop there.

I may be biased but i personally like the 90-91 Civic/ CRX interiors better than 92-95. Ive never owned anything 92+ but from looking at and riding in my friends '92 i have to say i really like my dashboard better than his. Personal preferance i guess. Sounds dumb i just like the shape and look of my interior better.

yeah...God is great

I've had 3 4th Gens (I still own 2) and this one is my first 5th Gen and I really cant believe how much nicer it is. Im not embarrassed to have people get into my car now. It just seems so much cleaner and more modern. Maybe its just me, but I dont think the 4th Gen compares. My Question is...is the 6th Gen *that* much better than the 5th?

if you think you like it now, just wait untill you swap and start handing out the beatdowns in your "4 banger"

The 6th Gen interior is much nicer (IMHO) than the 5th gen interior evenThe seats are the only thing that I really can compain about but with some Integra seats (or even Del Sol seat its a dream. Only problem is...just like all civic interiors...stuff RATTLES all the time!!

Forgot to mention it does rattle a good bit...Hasport rear motor mount and inserts don't help in that department.

Ahhh, EG's. I am on my 2nd one. After I wrecked my 92 4door, I was considering a lot of options. I looked at a lot of different cars, but i decided to get another EG (this time a hatch). That was stolen from me and completely stripped, but me...loving EGs so much I decided to keep it and rebuild it (I just love my little Si Hatch ) Good job on getting one of the best Civics ever made (my opinion, but I am sure others will agree )
