Just got a 2000 Accord EX V6...????
Honda has recognized the AUTO tranny being a problem, but will fix it only when it goes bad - not a true recall. my bro had #4 fuel injector go out in his 3.0CL, but nothing else.
I have a 98' Accord Coupe EX-V6, and I love it, you should enjoy yours too. The only problems you might encounter...
1) Some of the auto trannys were built with a bad bearing and they fail, not all of the auto trannys are junk though.
2) The armrest on the door will most likely break on the inside and create a shallow divit (this is really pretty common
) easily fixed by taking the door panel off and gluing it back with epoxy.
3) There might be other common problems, but I can't think of any right now

3)
The backlight to the clock may go out (mine did and several others)
The sunroof may creak or squeak (mine does somtimes when it is open)
EGR ports clogging
The trans issue described above. I would recommend changing the ATF fluid every 10,000-15,000 miles rather than the manual states at 30,000.
O2 sensor on some models in certain VIN ranges can go bad, or get clogged
Control arm on some models in certain VIN ranges
Rear seat belt restraint system on some models in certain VIN ranges
These are all the most common, but to see all of the service bullentins and/or recalls, check out http://www.nhtsa.com for all the info.
