Its the 29th and 30th of March.
I hope I have some tires by then. This is supposed to be the nicest piece of asphalt ever!!
Its a 2 day divisional event (solo II) I was only able to go to one of the 3 events last year, which I got first in my class, but I am hoping to go to all 3 this year and try to win my class championship. If anyone is close by...come out.

I'm not sure if we're going (nobody tells me anything), but we regularly test at Michelin's Laurens Proving Grounds, and it's awesome. Picture the biggest piece of smooth pavement in the world--no light poles, no concrete blocks, no oil slicks, no bumps, no paint markings and no excuses.

 

I think that is the same weekend as the first Nashville weekend for the PRO. I think I'll be going to the PRO event if I go anywhere.

I don't suppose there is an entry list online? I'd love to see who is planning on showing up in D-stock (I assume Al Aberson will be there in his IS300).

There are only 5 DS competitors right now including a lancer evolution.

edit: Al hasn't signed up but i'd assume he'll be there since its so close to our region.

from what info i could find from my researching of our competitors it looks like one of us atlanta guys(or girl)

edit: that prediction is only from what i could find using old results from regions i could find of the old competitors. a couple i really couldn't find anything so who knows.

Honestly, some of you guys that I ran against when I ran last year can run with Elliot if you have a good day and he doesnt. At the Roebling Road Divisional last year, I was running with them if not beating them on raw time. My fast run on Sunday was dirty though. And Ryan DID beat me IIRC at the Atlanta event.

I'm still deciding, I may goto the P.R.O. event instead, since there is MONEY to be won

For those Atlanta peeps who'll be at our region's event on Sunday, March 9th, good luck! Sadly, I cannot make it -- leaving tomorrow for a conference in DC over the weekend. I hate that I can't be there, but it's hard to curse your job when the economy and job market suck for so many people. So while you're racing, I'll be thankful for my employment and catch you at the next event.

 

Actually, there are 6 folks in DS now (soon to be 7) and until the SEB classes the EVO, it isn't legal for DS. I forget where cars that aren't classed go. I think it might be super stock...

I thought the EVO was a little much for DS but i wasn't sure.

As for STS, doug allen just appeared on the list with an 89 si. He was a little bit faster than me last season in his 00 si, at least when he had fresh falkens so i'd guess he'll do pretty good. not sure how prepped his car is though, I didn't even know he switched until i saw it pop up on the list the other day. I've decided I'll be on es100's for the first divisional at least so I'll probably be giving you guys a slight advantage.
