Suggestions on ways to lighten my 4th gen... other than the obvious rims, spare, seats.....

 

what about lighter pieces like a CF hood for example

remove all the rubber sound absorbing mats.

scrape off all the tar mats.

cut out large sections of steel and replace with sheet aluminum.

replace steel gas tank with an aluminum or plastic one.

replace windows with lexan.

 

bumper support adn the ewinforcement, just don't get into no accident/..I'm planning to take the sunroof assembly out and somehow cover it with a piece of plastic window

 

Get rid of the air conditioning, ducting, heat exchanger, radio, speakers, electric locks, electric windows, stock seats, back seat, ABS, 18-20" wheels/tires, useless body kits, useless wings, useless lighting, and on and on.

How fast vs. comfortable do you want to be?
