Im about to get some new wheels, but what about the lug nuts? I'm getting Heliums, can I use my Honda Lugs until I find some quality locking lugs?

 

yes the only difference is if the lugs are open top or not. factory lugs are not and u might have a problem getting them seated. talk to sanbst on this board he'll get u a good price on some lugnuts.

id suggest get some tuner (aka spline) lug nuts for added protection from haters!

If the Heliums have a cone shaped lug nut seat (which I suspect they do), do not use your Honda lug nuts. Use only lug nuts that have a cone shaped base. Honda lug nuts have a hemispherical shaped base. If you use your Honda lugs, the clamping force on the wheel from the lug nut will not be distributed in the proper manner. Its not that you can't physically put the lug nuts on the wheel, its just not a very good idea to do so. Many have found out the hard way after the Honda lugs have come loose.
