Auto H22 LSD fit in 5speed tranny?

My buddy has an auto LSD H22 tranny, and we are wondering if that LSD will bolt into the h22 5speed tranny...sorry for the multiple forums, but we need to know quickly...

I don't see any reason that it would not. But i'm not sure 100% either way.

I'm pretty sure that it will not, but I can't really give a good explanation of why, other than I remember a guy that tried and said it wouldn't. Maybe a search?

no it will not. the way the ring gear bolts to the auto diff is different from the way it bolts to the 5spd diff. you cant use the auto ring gear b/c the final drive is different
