Default Engine Swap

Is an 88 CRX a good candidate for a GSR swap? What ET range would it run stock? TIA for your responses.

yes it is, as long as you check that your frame is straight and sturdy for the extra power your gonna add. And it wouldnt hurt to change out the rear drum brakes to disk brakes.
and i think if you get the HF model with the seatbelt on the b pillar instead of the door, it will be lighter than any crx model. Good Luck!

The 88 crx hf is the lightest honda out there (well forget first gen crx they are lighter but damn they are ugly.) and with a gsr engine is might get low 14s to high 13s but that depends on location. Ive got a b16a and run mid 14s with it in New Mexico. But then i dont have a cat didnt have a smog check and its all legal (the only good thing about this backwards state.) go with any 88 crx as they are the best though

Thanks guys. I'm having a bit of trouble *finding* one, but I know I'll get it. Just a matter of time... thanks again.

I beg to differ. I, personally, like the the 1st gens over the 2nd gens, but I like all CRXs, with the exception of the del Slows, which I think ARE UGLY!!!
