I cannot find any 6x9 speakers that will fit my 2000 GSR 4 door due to:
1. the torsion bar that moves when you close the trunk - touches the speaker magnet
2. the stock grill sits very low not allowing some speakers to fit - ie it touches the tweeter
PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!

 

Try plug in your car on http://www.crutchfield.com and see your choices. But recent personal experience, do not trust it 100%. Crutchfield said the Sony Xplod 6X9 3 way will not fit in my Civic. Only the 2 way can. But if you look at it, the dish of the mounting plate sits deeper in the 3 way compare to the 2 way, so overall mounting height is the same, even if the 3 way is actually taller. Again, I can only speak for G6 Civic and Sony Xplod.

So not only compare actual height, but also their true mounting height.
