My fuel pressure drops off to 0psi after a few hours. Isn't it supposed to hold pressure while shut off or does it loose pressure over time. I think I might have a loose clamp, but I don't think I am leaking any fuel. If this is normal than I guess everything might be OK. I also notice a slight stumble while accelerating/cruising all of a sudden and my a/f guage starts going leaner than normal, but after a second the stumble goes away and the a/f goes back to normal. Guess I am leaning out somewhere and maybe it's related to the fuel pressure and a leak maybe? TIA
it doesnt really matter if it holds pressure for long periods of time. ..
but you sure as hell want it to hold pressure for short amounts of time like anything less then a 1/2 hour, which would mean a leak.. .
when you turn your key to the "ON" position right before the starter turns the motor over you can hear a sound that goes something like. . .
ffffffffffffffkunk
thats your fuel system being pressurized before it starts, so it really doesnt matter, if you had a leak youd know if fo sho
derek
