How can you have a spark controlled limiter without having to buy an aftermarket ignition system. That is all i really want an aftermarket msd for, is there a way to do it that is cheap/safe/reliable without spending much money?

Program it into the actual ecu.

 

yeah you have to have the ecu rev limit modified in some way first or the rpm control on the box won't do you any good.

 

most of the piggy back electronics that can do this cost enough you might as well buy the ignition...
