I've tried searching but found nothing, so here it goes. Bought myself a CAI for my 97 Accord. And when I look at it before installing it, it seems there there will be one hose left open from where my stock intake is right now. Can someone give me some help?

SOrry if someone already helped someone else on this, but the search did not find anything.

 

Do you have VTEC? If so, that hose should be connected to the intake.

heheh... actually.. I've never looked for anything in the car that says vtec but i'm sure it's not.

 

I mean what trim level? LX? ex? dx?

does it come with some rubber cap?
Just cover it with those rubber cap and clamp it down

 

It's where the hose from the Intake goes to the engine. There are 2 ports that go to the engine and only 1 hose on my intake.
