Ever since I got my 98 Accord coupe lx (4cyl), I have been getting static shocks.
It happens after I drive my car, get out and then as soon as I touch the drivers door to close it I get hit with a static shock, nothing serious, but it sure is annoying.
Any of you other 98 and up Accord owners experience this or know what could be causing it ? Are their any grounds I should be checking ? if so can you tell me where they are ?

Prolly is the mat and clothe seat...just get one of those tail thingie or get a rubber mat
is a ground wires for the whole car i think.
It bascially a rubber stripe with a metal(conductor) cord,
it hang from the rear bumper to the ground.
I dont know the offical, technical name for that thing.
it's suppose to take out ESD out of the whole car.
ESD=electronic Static discharge...
like the "zing" and "zap" for computer chips
