LOL, you guys are nuts!! That's ok, i've wanted an 84-87 ever since SCC did an artible on how to swap in a B16. It's a good idea because nobody is doing it and nobody would suspect it. Happy trails, make sure you smoke some domestics when your through.
Does anyone know where to find a digital copy of this much-loved article?
As I live in Europe I don't have access to paper copies..
I'm sure there someone around here who scanned the article and placed it on a website.

my friend(smokinsax on honda-tech), has a b20/vtec in his '87 hatchback. the previous owner(hamed hatch on honda-tech), had the swap done, at, SRD(i THINK) in phoenix az. pretty crazy swap. i know that a HAsport mount kit was used, and i believe that a zydne ECU is being run. I dont know too much about it but if you IM one of those two people i listed above, i'm sure you could get some good info.
In order to drop a B, you need to convert your HF/Dx to fuel injection... This requires ALOT of tedious work, especially wiring. You also have to run another
fuel line as well as an Si tank/fuel pickup.
It's not as easy as the SCC article made it seem.
But hey, if you're ready for some headaches, the result will be incredible,
GOOD LUCK.

I have a 87 si with a B in it. Very quick when youre done. Nope, not as easy as the article states. I am actually thinking of redoing the swap into a 84-85 civic hatch as they are 200 lbs lighter than my car to start with. Mine has a bit of rust now too.
