I daily drive my car with ~7 autocrosses per year, and I'm looking to do >2 and <6 track days per year, I am working on a four point rollbar at the moment, and would like to use a 5-6point harness system in conjunction with some slightly upgraded seats. What are my options to keep seats that recline for my daily commute, but allow a 5-6 point to function correctly.

The Recaro SRD is available with a sub belt hole. If interested, IM me, I can get these.

 

Is that the only one? I know that they go for ~$500 each...

Its the only reclineable seat I know of that has a sub-belt hole. There may be others, but the SRD is the only one I know of.

 

Which one are you speaking of? I'm looking for a seat, but don't want to break the bank since I have a few other items in the works at the moment.

You can get a Evo2 from Primmracing.com for cheap (depending on the UK exchange rate.

or

A corbeau seat from soloracer.com for about half as much.

Just be sure to sit in a seat before you buy it.

 

Hmmm...no on the Sparco because it doesn't recline

Corbeau doesn't have the ability for a 5th point on their reclinables

Looks like it's Recaro at $500 a pop
