OKAY, i am doing a B16a swap in my 6th gen ex coupe...

i heard that it is important to get axles when you buy the swap.. is that true? and where is a good place to buy a swap with EVERYTHING included.. i don't want to have to buy anything extra after i buy the swap...

yes, you need any B-series axles, and B-series intermediate shaft as well...ummm i'm not much for an internet engine buyer, but i'm sure an archived search will help you with good links to complete swap internet sales

Yes you need b-series axles like said above, go to PepBoys, AutoZone or Strauss they go for $70 each (w/core) and a LIFETIME Warranty, break it and they'll give u a new one on the spot.

 

so i could actually get b-series axles at my local automotive store? thanks a lot.. i didn't know that, nor did i think to ask autozone...

 

I did the same thing, It will probably get used sometime when I start boosting my engine so it seemed like a good purchase.

 

Remember to get manual axles. Also its $70 with core exchange. Its meant to replace broken axles, not sell them outright. Expect to spend around $200-250 for both axles and the half shaft in good condition. And yes you do need them. Some JDM axles do not have the ABS ring, so if your running ABS, make sure it has the ring on it.

I have had a fiew frends go threw nippon and they got good motors my motor is from http://www.nippon-motors.com and I havent had any problems with it. but shop around here are some sites that have swaps. ow and if you get a swap most come with the jdm axels and half shaft.
