hey all.... i need your opinions. i went to the track and i hit 14.8 with intake and exhaust.... i want to hit like 14.3 next time i go... is there any SINGLE mod out there(like cams or header, etc) that could dramatically get me from 14.8 to 14.3?? would a header give me that much power??? what do you guys think???? any help would be appreciated. thanks

 

.5 seconds is pretty dramatic when you're talkin about 1/4 mile times. it's gonna take more than a header to get down to 14.3.

yeah it is a dramatic difference.... thats why i was curious to see if there was a mod out there that could help me do that.... i was thinking about Nitrous.... i have 82,000 miles on my car... if i did get nitrous... i would get like a 50 shot.... is that pretty safe??? do you think its even worth it to get nitrous with that many miles on my car?

 

50 shot is pretty safe, make sure its a wet setup. if you wanna stay N/A gotta got with some type-s pistons and a built head to pull alot faster, which unfortunately isnt a quick and easy bolt on. 14.8 is a pretty damn good time tho

 

you can run up to a 75 or 80 shot on that motor.
