Is there much difference in the 94-97 and 98-02 AEM FPR?
i am buying a fuel rail from a guy. he got it for his 94-97 Accord which uses the same rail. but on AEM's web site it says they use a different FPR. does anyone know if you can modify the 94-97 FPR to fit a 98-02? is there much of a difference? he says it will fit right on the rail but why wouldnt it work for the 98-02?
There shouldn't be much of a difference in FPR, though it shouldn't matter becuase your not changing FPR's are you? The rail should fit up if its the same model by AEM in the F22's as F23's.
Check with someone else before going ahead with it.

yes i would be changing FPR's. i am getting the AEM FPR and AEM rail. but theyre both for the 94-97. i know the rail will fit fine because its the same model number for the 94-97 and 98-02. but the FPR is different and thats what i wanna know if it will work
If it fits on the rail then it should be fine. Which motor are u installing on? I suspect that the fuel system pressures spec'd by Honda for the F22B's (94-97 motors) and the newer motors is not all that different. Even if its a few psi one way or the other you can adjust it. Thats what the regualtor is for.
What other mods? Injectors or FI?
BTW, the 94-97 stock FPR is vacuum activated/variable. With "vacuum hose disconnected and pinched" the fuel pressure should be 38-46 psi. It should increase when the vacuum hose is attached but the manual does not indicate how much.

i am putting it on the F23. i have a turbo running 10lbs. i may get some 450 injectors while i'm at it but i dont really need them yet so i'm not sure
FMAX kit. running 10lbs i made 221hp and 238ft/lbs. i have recently done an MSD 6BTM ignition, gutted the cat, i have an AEM cam gear to put on, gonna do a valve adjustment, and get the rail and FPR on and i'll go back to the dyno. i hope to get about 230-235hp and 250ft/lbs on 10lbs
