Honda CD Changer or Acura CD Changer the ALPINE ONE will it work with a acura cd head unit
Can the cd changer be controlled by a cd head unit? I have a acura cd player stock on and am inerested in buying a acura cd changer will it work, the cable output is in the back for the cd changer but will it work can you control the cd changer from the head unit, i dont really see any cd changer controls?
Depends on the model of the radio but you'll have to hold down the FM/AM button to initialize the CD changer controls.
what year etc etc. If it doesn't have CD controls on the radio, it isn't going to work. If it's up to a 98 with CD controls, the alpine works, you just have to flip 2 wires in the end plug or you can get a pre-made blitz cable to do this (about $30). If it's a 99 up, you *must* get the blitz or similar interface that converts the alpine interface to match the car's interface (about $100)
Ok the stearo I believe its a 98 one, not 100% sure, but i have thing abouve the cd player button that says tape changer should this not work for the cd changer too, ?

ya, the changer means changer. The fast foward and stuff for the tape i believe dub as the changer controls. IIRC.
