I have an Autopower in my 92 civic hatch.... I know you want one for an EK, but I bet they are very similar...

Autopower, bolt in, race rollbar, with permanent harness bar.
They are around $250 from http://www.ioportracing.com , truck frieght to my job was another $80.
The rollbar assembly weighs in at 51 pounds.
Not bad for the heavier of the two materials available when I bought mine, not sure if they still make the lighter version still.

i have the autopower 4 pt w/ removeable crossbar for the eh2/ej1.... its lighter than the bar with the permanent harness mount by 5-10 lbs, but the passenger does not have any type of harness mount. its not a bad peice, it did alot for the stiffness of the chasis but the finish sucks, i will be sanding it and repainting it when i have the time and $

it's an autopower race 4 point roll bar. i bought it used for $100, and IMO, it is a good deal, because even though it was used, it wasn't flipped anyways, it was in scratched up shape, so i sanded it and painted it. zentraedi....you have the silver EK right? i think i talked to you for a little bit about your x-brace at the fuddruckers meet..

NEGATIVE - That is the seat back brace, not a harness tube.

Why don't you call autopower directly and ask them.

good idea... if this is really true im gonna bitch those guys out for not slapping some kind of warning sticker on that cross bar. i seriously thought that it would be for a harness.

no that is not the exact model I have. that one you linked to is a "street rollbar" and I have a "race rollbar". So mine has a diagonal brace that runs from drivers head area to passenger butt area. And mine also has a bar running across the shoulders of both seats from where I can run a harness easily.

it is NOT okay to mount a harness to the teeny weeny 1" x1/4" bar. you need to mount a harness to an oem mounting point OR a harness tube that runs across both seats.

yep. sure enough it is not a harness mount, i feel like such a retard. i really need my harness to mount behind the seat like that though due to storage issues in my car.... otherwise i wouldnt give a ****, id just mount it to the oem location.

on a related topic, i have an autopower 4pt rollbar for sale with removable crossbrace for 92-95 civic hatchback/coupe. $250 buyer pays shipping or if you are on the east coast i might be able to deliver it to you b/c i drive from new england to the southern new jersey area often. im me and we can work something out, im going to post a classifieds ad also.

thanks for the help guys, you might have saved my life.

i always thought that little bar was a head restraint bar, not really a harness bar, not quite nearly thick enough to be a harness bar anyways....haha, i just use it as a seat for my tein doll.

BTW - This is now for sale - $250 you pickup. I prefer not to ship due to expense involved. I'm located in San Diego.
