eh the wires are always good to change but i dont kno if the y7 wires would fit on the y8 but im thinking yea, how to remove is to just take out the wires from the cap and the cover and just remeber where they came out would be the easy way

i think NGK is stock...
do i need to disconnect the battery first before replacing wires? what if i forgot, would it hurt anything?

my stock wires arn't NGK, they are prestolite Z-16 LE-E. Oh, I lived in canada, so it might be different from the civic in the states.
The NGK i have on my Y7 are the blue ngk wires HE76.
