Just got a killer deal....
I got a full d16a6 motor/trans for 50 bucks! It has 123k miles. I yanked the trans for myself(FINALLY found a tranny.) I have driven this motor so I am sure that the bearings and synchros are fine. My friend swapped it for the infamous b16 so I lucked out. So this weekend my car is getting this trans, a Clutchmasters OEM replacement, rear main seal, milled flywheel, new timing belt, w-pump, and all the related seals. This should take the full weekend. My a6 will be reborn by Monday. Oh yeah the a6 long block I got today is for sale for 75 bills....someone in the tri-state come pick it up.
I clearly stated that my friend swapped a b16 into his rex, and I got his full d16 motor/trans for 50 bucks. The trans along with a T-belt is being installed this weekend in my car, and the remaining longblock is for sale for 75 bucks.
Heh, I'm giving away my D16A6 block & head for 10 bucks to whomever comes over here to pic it up!
Then again, all you get is the block and head.. no tranny, no I/M, etc etc.

This was my old A6 motor, which I swapped out for my current Z6/Y8 setup. It ran very well when it was in use. 172k miles.
It's the same problem everywhere I advertise: You live too far away!

Like I said in my above post, it does NOT include the Intake manifold (I/M), tranny, clutch, distributor, exhaust manifold, or the alternator. Everything else is complete. (basically the shortblock)
