Don't know if Mickey reads this forum but CMP has errected a tire barrier the full length of the trees at CMP between the kink and the front straight. Cannot recall who was discussing this last fall but figured any CMP thread would do (cause I don't feel like starting my own on the sujet ).

Considering both Mid-Ohio and CMP are both 8 hours from my house, I figured I'd venture out and take the opportunity to drive Mid-Ohio. Plus there's always CMP in September.

 

I was wrong about CMP, it's 6.5 hours.

took g-dawg and I 12 to get there last year due to a wrong turn.
8 to get home and we were movin.

 

last time it took us all night with traffic on I-95 and a wrong turn in the boonies of SC. Rolled into the paddock at 6:30am, just in time to swap brakes/rotors on the kar and make all-hands meeting.
