My car runs well normally, but a few weeks ago it crapped out. Replaced the fuel pump and distributor, and it ran great, for 2-3 days, but now it hesitates badly at a random time about once everytime I drive it, usually within 3-5 mins of leaving my house. Any ideas what my problem might be? Thanks!!

 

Fuel pressure.

 

Fuel filter?

Fuel injector resister?

Do you have any aftermarket ignition products on your lude? MSD? If so, take it off and put the stock coil back on.

 

I recently filled my tank up, and have had no problems since. It appears this hesitation only occurs once the fuel level drops to around half a tank?

 

I'm telling you to check your fuel pressure. I had the same thing happening to me and my stock fpr must have been taking a crap because I installed a gauge and I was only at 34psi at idle. I bumped it up to 38psi, installed new plugs, and haven't had the problem since.

 

you have a problem with your fuel system of you have a vaccuum leak....

 

Any other opinions/suggestions?
