help, should i put in a stage 4 clutch?
here is the deal.. my boy just blew his motor on his b16 hatch, sold me the hatch shell for 1200 bux, im dropping my b18c1 motor into my coupe very soon. he had a clutchmasters stage 4 clutch and lightend flywheel w/ the motor, btw, he had a gsr tranny. he will give me the clutch and flywheel for a good price cause he has no need for it anymore cause he bought a 99 prelude..
is it worth putting a stage 4 clutch into my new motor? ive heard that stage 4 is not intended for street driving cause it was break axxles cause i wont have the power to pback it up.. so.. should i buy the clutch and flywheel for him or not???

Well if you are getting it for a good price, why not pickup some good axles to make up the differance... then its one less link in the chain to break later on down the road

so are you sayin that it does break axles??? cause the motor i got only has 45k miles on it and i know its not time for a new clutch in there yet so it might be able to wait, it would just be easier to get it in while the motor is out of the car you know..
when i get the motor in im only gonna have AEM CAI, gutted cat or straight pipe, apexi n1 exhuast, headers will come later on if i dont turbo, plugs, wires, and a few other things, no internal work yet..

Yeah I seriously don't think you'll break axles. I daily drive on a Clutchmaster's Stg. 4 on my underpowered B16 hatch..... probably the only downside to daily driving on it is the somewhat on/off of 1st gear and probably wear it down faster with stop and go traffic. Otherwise I like this clutch and have no problem daily driving on it.
any other opinions on this clutch? as i will probably be getting it cheap as hell? and how can i tell if its still in good conditon? it looked good for what my eyes saw, but i could be wrong....
