Hi

I have a Honda CRX VTEC Turbo and im planning on putting a CUSCo LSD in to the gearbox as i am always spinning the wheels!!

Has anyone installed one of these before? i was planning on doing it myself. + a gearbox rebuild at the same time..

I have heard that the LSD needs to be shimmed is this corrct??

Any help or advice will be greatly appreciated!!

the cusco lsd should come with instructions on what is needed, to properly install the lsd on your tranny! i don't think you'll have to shim it, if the lsd is meant to be adirect fit on that tranny!

it shouldn't be that hard to install that LSD... I've put some Kaaz and Quaife LSDs in some trannies and it wasn't too bad... hell I even took apart the Prelude traction control and did some mods to it. Just remember to get everything back where you originally found it, also if you have any ? consult a manual.
