Just wondering how many people other than myself have ditched the spare tire? After I removed everything behind the front seats the spare tire just did not go with the new look. So, it has a new home in the attic at the house.
I can say that I have NEVER been stranded with a flat tire in the 8 years I've been driving (knock on wood)!
My parents say I am an idiot, but I don't give a $hit!
Weight reduction!!!
My dad says I should just get a sheet of wood or metal and cut it to cover the spare tire and paint it white to match the interior.....

I always keep my spare with me. It will save you time and hassle when and if you do get a flat. Its only 30-40 lbs more. Leave it in.
i see where your comin from but i'll stay on the safe with the extra 20 pounds or so and not be SOL in case of a flat. do like your motor though...good luck on goin OBD1
In my country its a $150 fine for having no spare and no jack...
So i've got no interior at all, but still got the jack and the spare... no tire iron or handle for the jack, stupid laws...

No spare. What sux is the day after I took mine out I ended up getting a flat. I have towing through my insurance so I don't worry about it.
I left mine in for a bit, but then I realized that it wouldnt even fit over my brakes
I got a flat, but luckily it was a slow leak and I was at home. Borrowed a buddy's car and got it fixed.

i leave it it just in case, there are times when that extra 25 pounds would hav ebeen nice out of my car, but with these **** quebec roads i kinda have to keep it.
Except when i hit a drag strip or something ill take it out and leave it on the grass.
