My buddy has a 91 civic dx. Hes looking for cheap power. I was thinking a cheap custom turbo kit.

d series turbo manifold go for under a $100 on ebay and t3 turbos are a dime a dozen at scrap yards.(volvos)

A cheap intercooler and a FMU to add fuel. We wouldnt go past 5 or 6 psi.

where can I find a rising rate fuel pressure regulator for the D15 engine.

will he need a better fuel pump?

 

um that sounds ok do a search for more info but a FMIC will help keep deatonation down and you dont really need a FPR with a FMU cause you fuel pressure will aleready be high engough. you dont need a fuel pump. i would suggest a SMC and some 450ccs is prolly you best bet...

there is a pic lingering around on here of a DPFI turbo. The intercooler was WRX style. I tried to search for it, but no luck. i would suggest doing he MPFI swap or at least adding extra injectors.

look to pay more around 150 for a turbo. 50 dollars maybe from a local wrecker, but most 50 dollar turbos need a ~200 dollar rebuild.

look for a thunderbird turbo-its basically a t3 super 60 if im not mistaken.it will bring a to your face
