Expo 3: Need Dyno Usage Feed back.
I have located and reserved a mobile Dynojet for the Expo. They are out of Cleveland so they are very accessable.
We have a few requirements to meet before I can gurantee they will show up.
1) We need a minimum of 16 people for each day.
2) We would need some sort of deposit which will require prepayment.
It would be 3 pulls for $80. $150/hr for tuning with wideband O2.
I want to know:
1) Who is interested.
2) Who is willing to pay up front
3) Who wants 3 pulls and who wants tuning.

Not that I care, but who will be tuning? That`s probably an import factor. I wouldn`t let tran near that thing

I could help with a power FC and I woudl think any we-todd (minus tran) could tune a VAFC.

It`s not our fault you consider anything without rust a showkar

Will banquet attendees be included?? If so, I'd be interested in some base runs.
But we need 32 people minimum to commit.
I may have a new car by then. But I don't know if the swap will be in. But if it is, I'd be down. (Sorry that's not much help)

......i may be interested......
I would have no problem paying $80 for 3 baseline pulls just for fun.
Have to get Ed on the dyno for some.........ooooooooooo'ss and ahhhhhhhhh'ss.

having the option to "tune" would be a bad idea. tuning can take hours. wont be pretty when a car is on its 3rd dyno hour and 11 people are waiting to make their baseline pulls.
Too rich for my blood, most of the h-t dyno days that get arranged are closer to 50 for like 2-3 pulls, even our chicago one was 65 for 2 and 75 for 3. And if i remember right, tuning with wideband was like 100/hr. Anyways, just my .02

Best I have gotten tuning time here is $125/hr.
This dyno does have to be drug 200 miles over the course of the weekend.
ok, I found a Dyno guy recommended by hondata that will come for a considerable bit less. We could do $40/3 runs or $120/hr for tuning if we can get 20 people per day.
To do this we would need everyone to pre-register for the dyno and sign up for a dyno time. I am running slim on time but will work this out if we could get some people to sign up.
This dyno is a type called a "land and sea" which is easy to transport and load and unload cars so it makes it more affordable. The type of Dyno isn't all that important since even comparing dynojets from different dynos isn't even accurate.
Woudl everyone be willing to do it for $40? This price will go up if we get less than 20 people. We don't have to have 20 people if someone wants an hour.

For $40, i'll do some baseline runs. Can i h00k up the "sneaky pete" system for the 3rd run?
Oooops.... i mean, i dont have a bottle in there.
