How many of you guys drive your itr daily and have a stripped interior? Just wondering to see if i'm just an oddball.

 

I did that last year.

 

I'm sure quite a few do.

 

i do . . . nothing but a dash and driver seat and raw power a twictch of my toe away
it aint that bad.

 

I dont have any interior behind my front seats.

 

I switch between stripped and un stripped. Depends on the mood I'm in.

damn y0! dats a low blow!! yeah I was rocking NO INTERIOR for awhile, but I have since put in seats and a gauge cluster

 

Sounds like a good idea to me. Makes more room for kegs.

 

i thought about it. but i prefer my rice interior.

 

I havent done it in the R yet but my bro had it done in his G2. It made alot of noise. This summer I plan on removing my back seat though since you can detatch the carpet off of the back of the seat and reatatch it to the floor. It removes a little weight and it looks stock. I remember seeing a pic of that done in somones car and I thought that it looked good.

 

The plastic interior panels protect the sheet metal underneath from the junk I make my car haul

I want to do that, but some people warned me about the noise and the only small amount of weight you save....
At least in an EuroITR. The Euro spec ITR has the JDM back seat which is already very light....

last year i ran just plain sheet metal , it was cool this year i left the carpet and panel s in though, ill leave it like that to put my cage in too , so i t can look bad *** and still be clean

 

i did that for a bit...i was cleaning my whole interior and just got lazy to put it back in...

 

Does anybody strip the roof too....

 

I just have the rear seats, spare tire, stock jack, rear belts, rear mats, rear carpet, hatch cover, and that large grayish flap thing that covers the spare, removed. Daily driven.

 

 

120 last summer......... more stripped now..........
