Default power steering ???

will a non power steering rack bolt right up to a steering column that had power
steering..im assuming it would cause the power steering is in just the rack and
their shouldn't be a difference in the steering column for power and w/o power.
please just let me know what you think of my theory or if you've already done this
and let me know how it went before i make a costly mistake thanks

Yes it should. What year and what model. If its 88-91 then the rear crossmember will need to be changed also. The power rack is larger diameter. I went the other way I put power into my '88 HB. Makes parking a breeze and i dn't really notice a "feel" difference.
