Is windshield washer fluid harmful to your paint??
Well since the weather has been anything but nice over here on the east coast I've actually had to use my rear wiper and fluid to clean my back windshield off. When you use these to features at once the washer fluid just kinda sits on the rear hatch and bumper. Now if this fluid sits there for acouple of days dry would that have any effect on the paint??? If so why teh hell did acura make the system like that?
I really doubt it is harmful. As far as I know it's just a mild glass cleaner with some stuff in it to make it not freeze. Does anyone's rear wiper actually SPRAY? Mine just makes this dribble stream down my rear window. EVERY Honda I've ever been in does the same thing, damn rear sprayers.
don't know of one rear sprayer that actually sprays... but it gets the job done
actually all of the sprayers on an integra suck. civics has it much better, at least they got a mist to cover the entire windshield instead of the 4 streams we're all so familiar with.
