Any negatives to installing 92-95 shocks into an 88-91
Someone is giving me a set of bilsteins with eibachs for free. Only problem is they're off a 94 EX. I have a set of EG forks for the front so I know I can mount them. I've heard that the EG shocks are longer, is that correct? Will this end up not lowering the car?
Thanks!
Thanks!
Just try it. I had some 99 Si tokico blues on my CRX, and it worked fine. Although I had Ground Control coilovers, so I could lower it to my desired height.
i put 94 gsr shocks and springs on the rear. it actually raised the car an inch. tried to put the fronts on and did not have room. they were too long w/the gsr forks and too big to seat in my fork. i'm fixing to ditch it all for some eibachs and kyb's.
dont do it....the struts are too long..your gonna bottom out alot and u need 92 -95 lower forks..just get 88-91 struts!
installed my eg kyb agxs.. the rear shocks are exactly the same... but the front shock bodies are larger in the egs.. love it so far.. only about 200 miles on them... nice and firm.
