1990 accord transmission seals

1990 accord transmission seals
I just pulled out both axels to replace them and I noticed that one of the tranny seals is leaking a bit. How difficult is it to change the seals?
I also noticed that one of the suspension springs is cracked near the bottom where it is sitting on the plate on the strut. The car seams to ride ok. Should I change the spring. Thanks JIm
