Default JDM ITR Sidemarkers?

Hey, I just got a JDM front from someone who had it on his car. Here's the problem - The guy who owned the front before me shaved the holes for the JDM sidemarkers. My friend says it looks cleaner shaved, but I would rather have them if I could.

Is it worth the trouble to redrill holes in the fenders, or should I just go without sidemarkers?

Or maybe someone reading this wants to trade fenders?!

Can you see signs of where the holes were closed up on the back side of the fenders? Can you tell if it was metal welded into place or *gasp* bondo?

That my friend is entirely up to you... here in so. cal. you can go to a shop and have them drill the holes for you for ~80 bucks... You can do it yourself, too. It all depends on whether or not YOU want 'em!

I don't trust myself with drilling a fender. 80 bucks huh? In that case I think I'll leave it shaved (it's welded metal, very clean job). Might as well use that money for something more useful.

Thanks!

My only concern now is the signals - would it be legal if i just had amber signals (i think CA vehicle code requires some kinda amber reflector on the side though?)

Technically the sidemarkers aren't reflectors, but if you had them it might help keep away possible 5-0 notice.
